Normall...I have played drums since the sixth grade.<br />Normally you begin with the snare, learn you basic rhythm stokes, read sheet music, and practice <br />daily getting your roll to sound almost effortless. Percussion sections are important to a school band, both in concert or <br />marching, as they keep everyone in time.
