My Week of Rest

About once a year I accompany my husband on a business trip. We always stay at the same place, so it's somewhat like a vacation home for me.

It's not a scenic place, nor particularly entertaining.  I bring books, my art supplies and knitting.

I turned on Conan last night to watch my nephew and niece play their new song, but haven't even watched HGTV the entire time (a traveling weakness of mine).

The staff here are phenomenal.  I love it. The pools are exceptionally clean, and most of the time I feel like I own the place. They serve breakfast everyday,  and supper Monday through Wednesday!

It's nice.

So I got a lot done.

I am reading Francis Schaeffer. My friend reminded me of the book "True Spirituality" a few weeks ago, and I revisited it.

You should, too. Or read it for the first time.

Schaeffer is an "old dead white guy," but my, how prescient he was!

We are in the last of the last days, and I say that with the assurance of one who sees trends of cultural demise and its hallmarks.

Schaeffer certainly fingers these trends!

I could quote pages of "The God Who Is There" and "Escape from Reason," but I found the photographed paragraph below in "The Church Before the Watching World."

With the continual barrage of attack on God's design for His creation, specifically regarding sex and the perversion thereof,  Schaeffer prophecies our soon destruction.

Oh, if he were alive today. He'd be heartbroken over the world,  but probably more so about his son's foray into madness.

But all of us have ones who are dear, but lost. Those that simply cannot bring themselves to the very narrow path of  God's way.

We weep, plea with God to open their spiritual eyes, beg them to read the Word, learn of Jesus, but they continue to make statements of their lives in opposition to his commands.

They struggle with sexual ambiguity,  support the destruction of human souls (abortion), blatantly bow to the god of this world, Lucifer, in pursuing mysticism, Hinduism, materialism, environmentalism, tolerance, liberalism, feminism, sustainability, sex, alcohol--- and completely ignore the message of the cross.

Can you imagine the hatred, anger, lust, envy, gluttony, greed, pride, and other evils in their hearts?
God is not the author of confusion, so their confusion is clearly of the devil himself.

WAKE UP!

We SHALL be known by our fruit. We are to confess our sins, not flaunt them! We are to repent of sin, not justify it! We are to pursue Christ, not the World.

Do NOT give in to the spirit of the age.

Love, as Jesus commands, but do NOT bow to anything less than God alone.

And make sure you know who your god is.

You may think you are following Someone,  but you don't know him well enough to realize you aren't!

The deceiver masks as a being of light. When you follow any path contrary to the word of God you are on the highway to the devil.

There are "Namenschristen" the world over.  Christians in name only. They do not believe anything but a manufactured god of their own choosing.

The Bible calls that something. Idolatry.  It is mentioned in the first of the ten commandments,  and it is the one Jesus brought up in the Gospels.

They do not know God.

They may know tradition, cultish programs, family values, and other "good" ideas, but not The Creator.

Why do I harp on this, post after post? 

Because if you are in my circle I want you warned, shaken out of your traditions and ease, and ready to leave it all for the One who truly matters: Jesus Christ.

Don't play the game of this world anymore.

All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. We are condemned.  It's all up. The hope is only in faith in Christ.

Death is coming. The rainbow is a sweet warning that judgment is surely coming. In curious irony the LGBTQ community flies the sign of coming doom. It's like they are proclaiming their own destruction!

Think of it.

Patience with God is Faith

Psalm 2:4

Do You Really Believe? Then,

Spiritual journeys are always fascinating. 

Sometimes the cost of a spiritual journey can be great...loss of friends, loss of family, loss of life.

But if we are unwilling to lose everything for our beliefs they are meaningless.

To live is to seek for meaning, for truth.

Otherwise we simply exist.

Prove me wrong, please, if I am on a false path. I take that up with the Creator daily.

Because I can.

God gives us general revelation throughout his creation. The specifics come through his word, the Bible.

I've been influenced by false teaching many times. It's at least a progress to admit that. I concede that I have false notions to this day.

May God clear those up for me as I live.

I'm willing to question myself. My relationship with God is ongoing, living, rational. I've come to trust it.

Now the hard part:
My faith and trust in the WORD of God has put me on a very narrow path, and at great cost.

I've become convinced that God's Word is the ultimate truth and the blueprint for my faith.

When God says he created the earth in six days, I am called to believe that.  When he spells out lifespans and specifics of pre-flood conditions I must ask myself if it is true or not.

I believe it is true.

That makes me a believer. My creationism sets me apart.

It wasn't easy to reject my theistic evolution,  but I realized I had no choice. I either believed God in his word, or didn't.

Catholicism.  There are so many issues with this religion. I think Martin Luther and his fellow Reformers spelled out the gross issues, but we (as a society) are so uneducated that it bears clarification in simple terms that even I can understand.

First, Catholicism is a religion which bears little resemblance to simple faith. Religion is a list of do's and don'ts. Catholics must go to mass, confess, pray the rosary, listen to the pope, venerate the queen of heaven, etc...

Believers obey Yeshua,  the Jewish Messiah.

There's a big difference.

Believers are filled with the Holy Spirit. Spiritual eyes are only ever opened spiritually.

Catholicism was begun in the 4th century. Islam began in the 7th century. Mohammed married a Catholic nun, Fatima, and these two religions of duty marched across the globe. They will probably easily reunite at the end time, mark my words.

Religion, not faith.

The queen of heaven has been around since before the flood. In the Bible Jeremiah 7:18 mentions her. She is a demonic entity, a power  who craves adoration and points to the antichrist. She has worked her deception since the dawn of time.

In the Catholic Church she masks as  Mary.

The human jewish virgin Mary never asked for veneration.  She was a willing tool in God's hands.

Jesus died once for all. The crucifixion happened once. He rose after death, and is at the right hand of God. He said he is preparing a place for us. He's not manifesting in eucharistic pieces of bread or cups of wine--- his spirit is filling each of us who believe in Him as Savior! Anytime,  all the time.

He is our priest! We have no need for any other priest. Jesus fulfilled the need for an intermediary.

Do you see the huge chasm between the religion of Catholicism and faith in Christ based on the Word of God?

There is no common ground. They are utterly incompatible.

So, as someone who believes this, I gladly warn my Catholic friends and family! Leave your religion!  Come to faith!

Jesus is coming soon,  and He is all that matters.

The Bible is full of prophecy that is coming to light daily. These times are critical. The harpazo of the believers is imminent.

I believe this. It's written in the New Testament. That's why I believe.

I care about you enough to shake your religious ideas up, and challenge you to READ the Bible for the truest truth.

If you are left behind after the believers are raptured, remember this warning. You will lose your head, but gain eternity with Christ if you reject the coming one world religion for the Bible.

It's coming, dear ones. Right on schedule.

A Republic, If You Can Keep It

There is a raging debate about guns going on.

The liberals want guns limited/controlled. The conservatives want the 2nd Amendment upheld.

It's really that clear cut.

People who don't know history are doomed to repeating it, at least they will unknowingly repeat it.

Our country was originally inhabited by warring tribes of native peoples. "Savagery" was the rule of the day, as unattractive a truth that may be. It's history. The word savage was coined to describe the people who used inhumane treatment with each other.

It's historical.

The pilgrims came to this continent in the early 1600's. At least half of the people on the Mayflower were Bible-believers. They had their issues; drunkenness, anger, selfishness, depression. They were human, and sinful, but they had a Book that taught a code of justice.

The Bible acknowledges sin. It describes the beginnings of it, and it gently informs the world that we are simply all sinners. Gently, I say, because there are so many people who simply cannot acknowledge that mankind is sinful and fallen. There is no coercion to believe the Bible. It's always and ever been a matter of choice.

I am NOT talking about the religion that has its headquarters in Rome. That is not about Biblical faith. That is about human revelation and tradition. I'm talking about the BIBLE, in its glorious depth, Aramaic, Hebrew, Greek, ----translated by Martin Luther, Tyndale, Wycliffe----

The impact that the Bible had on civilization was positive and life-preserving. People hearing the message of salvation and God's laws started to live together in peace and harmony.

Yes. There was still sin.

Jump forward to our Republic's birth, 1776. Our founding fathers were predominantly Christian, though many were deists, Freemasons, and existentialists. All agreed that the Bible was an important part of the new American governing stipulations.

It's history. You can find it.

Even if they did not believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob they acquiesced to the Bible's helpful structure for governing principles.

Firearms were invented in China in the 13th century. They were crude at first, but quickly they became instruments of war in Europe, and were brought to the New World along with the Europeans.

They've been around a long time, and they were extremely useful in hunting, and formidable weapons in war. Fire power has always been an issue in war.

War. It's a product of fallen mankind. War has existed since Cain and Abel, and WILL EXIST until the earth burns up. Armageddon.

There are numerous "wars" that we fight daily, though, and they are for our beliefs, our way of life, our livelihood, our personal existence.

I love to read "war stories" of people's personal testimonies. They are the best. Sometimes they are too amazing to believe! But people tell us that they are true.

Have you ever read the story of Sadhu Sundar Singh? He's one of my all time favorite people ever. His story has inspired me since I was in fifth grade, when I read the little Moody Press bio that my mom had on the bookshelf. I LOVE HIS STORY.....

But I digress.

War stories are being played out each day, and if you don't know your position, your arsenal, your back up-----you will be creamed.

This gun control argument, it has raged for decades.

I would like to stand up and voice a view. It's NOT about the guns. It's about social decay, lack of education, moral failure, violence, crime, misunderstanding, human nature, and SIN.

The founding fathers knew that God's moral law was absolutely necessary for a society to function. There had to be a Righteous Judge in the universe to mete out righteous judgment.

Well, it worked for about 150 years. The government threw God out in 1950 and the Humanists quietly exerted their strength. We are post-Christian, and godless, ala Will Durant, Dewey, Huxley, Shaw, Sagan, Fabian Socialism

Some may call that a victory. It isn't. Secular humanism is a false religion. It is simply another attempt to make an idol of something other than the Creator.

It does serve a purpose, though. As a prophecy watcher, it has played the role of bringing about an unified philosophy that will bring about the ONE WORLD ORDER.

Yes, yes, that's old news.

Today we talk about guns, though. Just because we are on a path toward socialism/humanism doesn't mean we don't have a voice in the "war" against that. We are at philosophical war.

Have you checked out the "Georgia Guide stones" yet? The first item listed is to reduce the world population to under 500,000,000. That's half a billion, for those of us who are poor at math. There are close to 8 billion people in the world now.

Picture that.

Humanism is about reducing the human footprint, sustainability, and the good of mankind. It sounds real nice.

But it isn't. When the individual person is dissed in comparison to the whole, certain ideas, rights, beliefs suffer. It's pretty simple, really.

That is why the founding fathers, with trepidation, I believe, allowed individuals the freedom to defend themselves. Have guns, will defend.

We're talking philosophical war, here, people.

Crime and violence and mass murder are symptoms of the darkness of human nature and inferior belief systems.

What we need, REALLY, is the GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST to be preached with conviction far and wide, just as it was in the 1600's, and 1700's-----White, Brainerd, the Wesley's, etc.

The Gospel without the whole "seeker" mush, but the hell fire and brimstone Gospel, the not-cool truth that people are messed up. That spiritual re-birth is a must, and that ONLY the HOLY SPIRIT can do that.

Tale as old as time.

But powerful to this day.

Guns are tools. They sit in the hands of people who aren't so good. Jimmy Carter said that he believes in the innate goodness of humanity.

He is purported to be "born-again." I doubt it. Anyone who is really born again knows that their human nature is anything but good, and needs a savior to be able to LOVE OTHERS AS HIMSELF. Being born again is a spiritual transformation by a Holy God.

It's a Bible thing.

So, I know, as well as anyone, that the days of our Republic are setting. I am one little housewife in Minnesota who reads. I have no power to change the course of history or prophesied events. I can tell others of the Truth I have found in the Word of God, and the hope it gives me personally, and to anyone who believes.

I know that to live is Christ, to die is gain.

I know that I must love my enemy.

I know that God is a righteous and holy judge.


I have nothing to fear.

I haven't been writing much, as I have had other things going on----

We invited our church family to come for an overnight last weekend. It was predominantly a game night, but it ended up being games for the kids and fellowship for the adults.

There's never enough fellowship, in my opinion. I guess we'll look forward to that in heaven, too.

A storm passed through, but it must have gone mostly to the north and south of us, as we got a mere sprinkling.

It was enough to discourage tenting, though, so only 3 people stayed over. Still, we had 35 on Friday evening and 15 were here on Saturday morning for rolls and fruit.

Fun.

Every time I have an event here at Corgi Hollows I get another "big" project done in preparation for it. I'm more motivated to tear something apart to organize it better. Small victories. The moving-in process continues.

The rest of the summer looks pretty full. We'll be in and out, traveling, going to the beach, and keeping up with the mowing.

Mowing. Always mowing.

It's therapeutic.

Next week Ed gets to go to Camp Make a Smile in Montana! He was selected from the cancer patients at Children's Hospital to be able to go!

I'm thrilled for him, and he is thrilled too!

He got a special type of brace last week called a "GoBuddy" that should help him stay mobile with his Avascular Necrosis. His sports days are certainly over, but I am hoping he can ride horses and get around to do a few fun activities.

The goal now is to keep him mobile as long as possible before he gets two new knees.

It couldn't be a more beautiful morning -----welcome, after so much rain this spring. Everything is green, and the baby birds are all making a racket as they flutter around.

My two cats are posted on the window sill in the bedroom, taking it all in.

Sadly, our resident Corgi, Misty, was diagnosed with diabetes a week ago. She was losing weight, and needing to go out during the night. Our veterinarian prescribed a new prescription diet, and for a few weeks we will use that. She'll start insulin shots after that.

I'm just so grateful it isn't cancer. Our last dog, Lacey, the wonder, got cancer when she was only seven. Her death started a spiraling of unfortunate events and we all suffered! Lacey was wonderful. I still miss her.

I listened to an interview with Roger Oakland this morning. He wrote a book called "Faith Undone" and his ministry has been pegged as harsh and divisive.

The interview was an attempt to clear up some confusion.

One point he made that bears repeating is to ask ourselves the question, who is a false teacher?

Christ gave the warning that there would be many false teachers, MANY, so who is the false teacher? Can you name one? Can you name MANY?

Are YOU being led by a false teacher?

Just asking.

How would you know?

I'll try to keep this short.

1. Conversion:
 What does conversion really look like? We are not born redeemed. There must be a turning point. We are born in sin. The world is condemned. Christ came to save that which is lost.

Conversion is a transformation. It may be a conscious decision, a feeling, a gradual understanding, but it is characterized by FAITH. It is a clear delineation between the past and the future.

It is a moment marked by a thirst for God's Word, a spiritual experience, and a change.

Check out the meaning of the word "repent." It will help you define your moment of conversion.

Are you converted?

2. What is truth?

Pilate asked that. I have asked that! Who has it? The Amish? Roman Catholics? The Shakers? The Moonies? The Buddhists? Islamists? Hindus?

By definition they cannot all be truth. Truth is not contradicting in essentials.

THEREFORE, IF the Bible is true, these other beliefs are, by definition, false.

It's absolute.

You must decide to follow your course, but the Bible says that there are consequences for your decision.

I have decided to follow Jesus. The Jesus/God of the Bible. That sets me completely apart from the rest of mankind, by the Bible's definition. You can't have it both ways.

This is truth.

3. Discernment

Each of us needs this to navigate our 21st Century spiritual walk.

For me, knowing that there is a spiritual battle ensuing immediately and ever since the fall of man starts the argument.

Two sides, Light and Dark. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and the forces of Satan/Lucifer.

There are those that would have you think Lucifer is the true god. Too many are deceived.

When your spiritual eyes are opened you begin to see Lucifer in many things! It's shocking. Think Jesus, think other-----

It's either Jesus or Lucifer.

Discern the times. Discern the spirit. Discern the teaching.

4. The Plumb Line

The only way to know if you are converted, know the truth, and able to discern spiritual light versus dark is by knowing God's Word.

The Bible is it, folks. If you don't know the Bible you are lost. LOST.


The lifestyle of the rich and famous is alluring. The lifestyle of a Satan follower is also deceptively attractive. The path of Christ is hard, full of suffering and rejection.

But it isn't about this life. It's about eternal life, and that is what matters.

Your eternity is what is at stake. These fleeting pleasures of sin in this life are not worth the eternal damnation they bring.

Forsake your sin. Repent of your lostness. Don't follow a false church/teaching/lifestyle. Follow Christ alone through the WORD OF GOD.

The days are full of false teaching and false doctrine. The Bible says they are.

So, can you answer that question?

Who are false teachers?

I hope you can do that today, and get on the path of righteousness and truth.

It's so worth it.

Why do the nations rage so furiously together?

Take a moment and try to let that sink in.

Following Christ Jesus (and nothing else) is a daunting proposition. He's so exclusive!

He demands everything----money, reputation, discomfort, pain, loss.

Death, crucifixion,  beheading, torture.

Why would you choose Christ?

When tragedies occur, and they will continue to happen until earth ceases as it is, we will see the raging vapid arguments surface against terrorism, religion, guns....

Everyone seems to have a band - aide for atrocity,  the kind committed by humans.

The elephant in the room is human nature.

Those screaming about guns must ask themselves honestly....what will be next?

When homosexual marriage was made legal last year there were assurances of it being the right thing to do for good people....

It didn't stop there, did it? That battle won, the agenda became transgender rights, the story subject of this past spring. What will it be next in the perversion department?  Bestiality? Pedophilia? We are on a roll, and rumblings are happening in Canada, Europe. Dont worry, we'll get there. It's going to get pretty bad here on earth.

Yes, we believers know that all this capitulation must occur for the End to begin. It's still hard. The new nature of Christ is repulsed by any sin.

We believers have read Romans and Revelation, words from the heart of God, and the condemnation of unrepentant sinners we know and love, is on the horizon.

Gun control of any sort is merely a band - aide. People really need Jesus. This society is on its way down because of sin, not guns.

Accepting someone's idolatry, sexual perversion, and sin is the most cruel thing you could ever do to someone you care about. You want them to burn in hell forever? You are inhumane. Face it.

Maybe you yourself need a new heart, the heart of Jesus. Do you hate someone today? Anyone? You need a new heart. Let the Love of Christ dwell in you! Your human nature easily hates.

Do you hate Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama,  or Donald Trump? You need a new heart. Do you hate the young man who killed 49 in Florida? YOU NEED TO REPENT. Jesus loves them all, even knowing that they could be burning in hell. (Dont judge! Hell is for all of mankind, except --exclusively---believers. No one goes to the Father but by Christ, the Way)

Do you hate?

There is a way to peace.

Jesus, God, Son of Man, Savior, Answer, Lover. When you bow to Him things come clear,  into focus, and everything  gels into a beautiful hope.

Get out your Bible. The truth is there. Read it!
Stop balking at Satan's snivelling trollish arguments about inconsistencies and contradictions. Look for yourself.

The Bible is not the Koran. It stands alone in every sense.

As John says in 14:17 this is a spiritual awakening. You cannot achieve it yourself. It is wrought by the Holy Spirit. 

How? Through repentance and trust....belief.

Pray. Repent. Believe.

"Come unto me, all ye who are heavy laden, and I will give you rest!"

Come to that EXCLUSIVE status of Believer,  follower of Christ, and heaven- bound.

Today. The spiritual forces are gathering for battle. Choose the victorious side today.  Experience Yahweh's perfect peace in this maelstrom of civilization's decline.

It will cost. It's warfare.  But it's right.

Ask the Lord to deliver you from the fog of humanism. Ask for the Holy Spirit to open your spiritual eyes.

Lucifer, you lose, and you know it.

On the first weekend in June there was a Luciferian ceremony of some type at the opening of the world's longest tunnel in Switzerland. Why would the officials want that?

I can only guess that the New World Order is beginning to take hold.

The political scene continues to astound all of us. Donald Trump? Ugh. I'm voting for him, because Hillary Clinton is a felon. The Justice Department is a sham and in her pocket.

Will Barack Obama have a third term? There's talk. When has the Constitution stopped him before?

I can't bear to see this country's demise, but it is all in the master plan.

Relax.

I recently watched the documentary about the Georgia Guidestones. Being a prophecy watcher I had heard of these enigmatic stones long ago----even when they were erected.

They are the distillation of Thomas Payne's writings with a bit of New World Order rules thrown in. In many languages, even. A place for Wiccans to meet and celebrate.

Who in the world erected them? R. C. Christian

Rosicrucian......Catholic........Herbert Hinzie Kersten, from Fort Dodge, Iowa. A eugenics lover and "respected" doctor from that upstanding midwestern town.

 I happen to love shopping at Target, but I haven't since they made their new transgender rule. (Anyone can use any bathroom)

I'm not boycotting. I'm just shopping elsewhere for now.

As someone pointed out, Target has had anti-Christian views before and expressed them with their policy toward the Salvation Army, LGBT advertisements, and Planned Parenthood funding.

We are in the world, not of it. Shop where you can. You are the LIGHT of the world.

I'm just using my feet to shop in a different venue for awhile-----with millions of other folks.

 "The Church" continues to stray from the Bible. I went to Wheaton College, but the Higher Criticism that has infected that institution has gone overboard.

I cite the examples of the new regard for Allah there, LGBT acceptance, alcohol policy changes, and many, many friends who have lost their faith. It's incredibly sad. I grieve.  What happened to "Be Sober?"

Wheaton has been infiltrated by liberal theology, and its demise is on the horizon as a Biblically sound institution. It's already there. I read the quarterly. I see it.

Russ Dizdar talks about the "Black Awakening" where there are people in every church "programmed" to be triggered mentally by certain types of mind control.

Yes, it's sci-fi worthy. Unfortunately it's all too real.

Spiritual warfare. It's in the church. People don't have sound doctrine, and they are suffering from it.

Doctrine IS important.

Where do you get your doctrine?

Your leader? Your pastor? Your seminary? Your mind?

It's something you MUST face, and ask yourself.

The only real answer should be the Word of God. What else could it be?

The Word of God is sufficient. Go there.

Reflections

It is cool, sunny, breezy and June.

I'm struggling with things, though, because Misty is not well.

She's been steadily losing weight, due to the activity around here I supposed---but apparently things just aren't as they should be.

Her backbone is starting to stick out, and I've switched her food, fed her treats, watched her carefully for activity changes.

Now her abdomen is starting to swell some.

Cancer.

Why do some of us have to deal with so much cancer?

What a fallen world we live in.

I'm taking her to the vet, shedding tears, giving her lots of love and enjoying her sweet presence. I'm afraid her days are numbered.

Maybe it is a parasite.

She caught a gopher, and ate it, just the other day. I can only hope it is as simple as that.

Ed and I talk about cancer. Often.

His controlled poisoning, chemotherapy, is doing the trick of curing his cancer, and we are incredibly grateful. Poison isn't wonderful, though.

We live in a fallen world.

I'm waiting for the Savior to come and finish things up.

You know what that means?

I live my life in light of eternity. I can't get away from that. Eternity counts so much more than this life!

I know people who think this life is it. It's all that matters. It's everything.

That's not my take.

Eternity lasts forever. This life, maybe 8 decades if you're lucky.

Maybe 10. Rarely 11.

It's not about this life. Really.

I live with an eternal perspective, wanting my loved-ones to live in the same way.

WHO CARES if you're rich or successful or famous or a winner??????

It doesn't matter.

What matters is your relationship with GOD.

Have you repented? Have you believed? Have you read a Bible to understand God's ways?

That is what matters.

Not your job, your house, your clothes, your diet, your travels or your jewelry.

It's all wood, hay, and stubble.

It's all going up in the fire to come.

I heard a preacher say the other day that the Bible is "batting a thousand" on prophecy and the line up of events for the end of time.

Better get on board now.

JESUS IS COMING SOON.

What are you going to say to Him?
Why should He let you into heaven?

The only answer you should have is "BECAUSE YOU DIED FOR MY SINS."

Eternity matters. Hell is. Heaven is better.

I don't mind scaring anyone into heaven. Jesus did.

The God of the Bible is the one that calls you to come out of the world and be different. To reject sin.

So come out. We have only days left. Time is short.

Don't worry about that one who has offended you. Don't worry about that precious pup that you've loved for 8 years....

God knows all about it.

You are responsible for following Him, as HE wants you to follow in the Scriptures.

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.

So give it up and follow Him.

Eternity matters.

Keep watching.

If you're under 50 you really need to read this. If you’re over 50, you lived through it, so share it with those under 50. Amazing to me how much I had forgotten! When Bill Clinton was president, he allowed Hillary to assume authority over a health care reform. Even after threats and intimidation, she couldn’t even get a vote in a democratic controlled congress. This fiasco cost the American taxpayers about $13 million in cost for studies, promotion, and other efforts. Then President Clinton gave Hillary authority over selecting a female attorney general. Her first two selections were Zoe Baird and Kimba Wood – both were forced to withdraw their names from consideration. Next she chose Janet Reno – husband Bill described her selection as “my worst mistake.” Some may not remember that Reno made the decision to gas David Koresh and the Branch Davidian religious sect in Waco, Texas resulting in dozens of deaths of women and children. Husband Bill allowed Hillary to make recommendations for the head of the Civil Rights Commission. Lani Guanier was her selection. When a little probing led to the discovery of Ms. Guanier’s radical views, her name had to be withdrawn from consideration. Apparently a slow learner, husband Bill allowed Hillary to make some more recommendations. She chose former law partners Web Hubbel for the Justice Department, Vince Foster for the White House staff, and William Kennedy for the Treasury Department. Her selections went well: Hubbel went to prison, Foster (presumably) committed suicide, and Kennedy was forced to resign. Many younger votes will have no knowledge of “Travelgate.” Hillary wanted to award unfettered travel contracts to Clinton friend Harry Thompson – and the White House Travel Office refused to comply. She managed to have them reported to the FBI and fired. This ruined their reputations, cost them their jobs, and caused a thirty-six month investigation. Only one employee, Billy Dale was charged with a crime, and that of the enormous crime of mixing personal and White House funds. A jury acquitted him of any crime in less than two hours. Still not convinced of her ineptness, Hillary was allowed to recommend a close Clinton friend, Craig Livingstone, for the position of Director of White House security. When Livingstone was investigated for the improper access of about 900 FBI files of Clinton enemies (Filegate) and the widespread use of drugs by White House staff, suddenly Hillary and the president denied even knowing Livingstone, and of course, denied knowledge of drug use in the White House. Following this debacle, the FBI closed its White House Liaison Office after more than thirty years of service to seven presidents. Next, when women started coming forward with allegations of sexual harassment and rape by Bill Clinton, Hillary was put in charge of the scandal defense. Some of her more notable decisions in the debacle were: She urged her husband not to settle the Paula Jones lawsuit. After the Starr investigation they settled with Ms. Jones. She refused to release the Whitewater documents, which led to the appointment of Ken Starr as Special Prosecutor. After $80 million dollars of taxpayer money was spent, Starr's investigation led to Monica Lewinsky, which led to Bill lying about and later admitting his affairs. Hillary’s game plan resulted in Bill losing his license to practice law for 'lying under oath' to a grand jury and then his subsequent impeachment by the House of Representatives. Hillary avoided indictment for perjury and obstruction of justice during the Starr investigation by repeating, “I do not recall,” “I have no recollection,” and “I don’t know” a total of 56 times while under oath. After leaving the White House, Hillary was forced to return an estimated $200,000 in White House furniture, china, and artwork that she had stolen. Now we are exposed to the destruction of possibly incriminating emails while Hillary was Secretary of State and the “pay to play” schemes of the Clinton Foundation – we have no idea what shoe will fall next. But to her loyal fans (supporters) - I guess in her own words “what difference does it make?” I guess being a female Democrat is all that matters. By the way, I'd post the same if she were a Republican. You see, she's already been in the White House, she has a record we can review. Hillary for prison 2016 would be a good start to help make America safe again.

Love Affair

It was the month of June when I fell in love with this place I now call home.

Sometimes I have to figuratively pinch myself. I still can't grasp that we've been able to buy a foreclosed home, so perfectly located, adapted to country life and live next door to aging parents---

It all seems somewhat staged. Unreal.

But it is real.

My husband is the best. He had to adapt more than anyone, and he's done so swimmingly.

I wouldn't call it love for him, but it's something akin. At least we are closer to the honeybees!

I do love it.

I mow every square inch in praise to God. I pull up these monstrous dandelions (so healthy in this rich soil) and appreciate the privilege.

I see my son, Ed, recovering from leukemia.

It was 2001, and the Twin Towers came down in New York. Disaster was real to all of us. I've always been looking for the Rapture, ever since I heard about it as a child. Christ's return seemed momentary in 2001.

It's fifteen years later. I still think that His return is imminent. I have thought that way my whole life, and one doesn't change a pattern easily.

Christ is coming. Soon. Relatively. Could be today. Could be next week. Could be on Pentecost. Rosh Hoshanna. Could be fifty years from now---

The point is to watch. The point is to see the signs and live in this moment fully, aware that our Lord is coming.

I've been learning that.

With the somewhat heavy burdens of the last few years for me, I've been cautiously trying to breathe again. I'm guiltily enjoying the beauty of THIS earth----in a completely unreasonable way!

I know GOD IS GOOD!

He is GOOD all the time---in good times and in bad.

Be still, and know that I am GOD. Psalm 46:10

I'm learning to accept (with amazement) His good gifts.

June is a month for weddings. Bursting with beauty and verdant life, it seems such a fitting setting for nuptials.

I have this thing about June. It's become my anniversary of a love I didn't expect---a new sort of middle age, a country beginning, a relationship change.

All wonderful.

Perhaps Jesus will come in June. How fitting.

I have issued a challenge to myself and friends who want to join in----Read the gospel of John in the month of June. John in June.

It's only day 2, so if you want to join still, please do.

John is quite the book. I saw a pamphlet on Bible study, and John and Genesis were the two books to begin with.

If you haven't read them you need to.

Prophecy watchers----be aware that things are heating up, politically, economically, naturally. I'm watching the sky cams with a facebook friend. An object is being photographed daily. It's getting closer to the earth.

The "Blue/Red Kachina" of the Hopi legend? The object that halted the sun's progress in the Bible (Moses)? A part of Noah's flood catastrophe? The orbit fits some mathematical calculations. Non-believers call it Planet X or Nibiru.




One thing is clear. It's getting closer. Will it cause natural disaster this time? Perhaps.

Something to watch. Speculation abounds.

As believers in Christ Jesus we stand on HIS promises. On the Bible's words. We trust it.

That is the only logical thing to do, as the Bible has always been 100% accurate in predicting events and telling truths.

Higher Criticism tried to strip the authority of God's word, but in a delightful way science always comes up in agreement with it.

The LORD is true. Man is a liar. (Romans 3:4)

So, if God says He will bring the Jewish people back to the land of Israel, He will. He did.

If the word of God says that they will never be removed, they won't be.

If Jesus says "I go to prepare a place for  you, and IF I go I will come again---"
HE WILL.

No worries. Even death has no sway. We are completely in tune with the ONE who made the world.

This is true love.

The Father loves us. Even us sinful beings.

Amazing love.

Get right with God today. Read John. Repent from your sin. Watch the signs. I have wondered countless times why we are all still here!

But I know God's plan is unfolding, and He is incredibly patient with mankind. His timing is perfect, and He had it planned from the beginning.

My job is to watch and bear testimony of His truth from the Word of God.


Come to Christ. His burdens are light.
