Peanut Butter Cookies

I actually have two brothers, and although they are not close to me, I think of them from time to time. They are both quite a bit older than I, and we grew up further apart than most siblings.

Today I pulled out an old recipe from the file today, and it was "Mrs. Barron's Peanut Butter Cookies."

I have this faint memory of my brother making these when I was very young. I'd gotten the recipe from my mom's recipe box, and I've made them many times since, but today I recalled my brother being the baker. Food brings back so many memories!

These are really good, and so easy to make! Here's the recipe:

1 cup peanut butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 cup butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 cups flour

Mix. Form into balls. Press with fork.
Bake at 350* for 10 minutes (or 12, depending on your oven).

Prophecy Teas

After hosting and facilitating a Bible Prophecy Study for a year I knew some tweaks had to be made!

All for the good!

Corgi Hollows will now host four "teas" a year, in January, April, July, and October. They will be on the last Sundays of these months, usually around 3 pm.

Our first tea is on April 28, and because of a concert I perform in earlier in the day, the tea will be at 7:30 pm.

Come and enjoy fellowship, a brief Bible study, updates on current prophecy-related events, and discussion!

See you soon!

Email corgihollows@gmail.com for directions. Women of all ages are invited!

A Little Stressed....

You know, you have those weeks once in awhile when there are just a compounding number of events that seem crazy! They happen with the onset of a vacation, a wedding, a birth, or whatever big life event.

But once in awhile it's just the stuff of life that gets you.

It's one of those weeks.

Yes, there is a trip involved, a job interview, a conference, athletic events, a business trip, work, a forecast BLIZZARD, plus upcoming events to plan for.

It's just a lot.

The LORD knows our weakness, but I could use your prayers this week to cope.

Thanks, dear ones.
