Confession

I have a confession to make.  My computer is not what it was. Ed set me up with one he'd pieced together, but alas that failed too.

I abhor writing on my tablet,  which I am doing, (forgive the auto correct and sloppy typing! ) but my thoughts today are just tumbling out.

First, today is the first Saturday of the fall when we were pretty free to get ready for winter. Last night it frosted,  so we're maybe a day late to rescue the geranuims and aloe potted in the front.

I have a thing about geraniums. I love them but they don't love me. I want them to live forever, but they spindle out and eak along.

My husband has been working on an old woodshed all summer. It needed a new roof, and now paint. Perhaps by tonight we will have it done. Ready for firewood.

Ed's been driving quite a lot these past few weeks.  He's now an adult, so requirements for licensing magically changed with his birthday. We have an appointment with the exam station in a couple of weeks.

Driving 40 minutes each way to the community college takes a big chunk out of the day. Sometimes I do it twice. I'm not exactly complaining---well, sort of---but I'm feeling the strain.

Cherie has her Cross Country team and daily runs/meets that fill up the afternoons.

How do you women that work DO IT???

I'm a complete weakling. My hands are completely full without a job, but I am in the process of getting my teaching license back. Substitute teaching may be on my horizon.

These everyday obligations distract me from my longing for the rapture.

I realize that we are here still because of God's great patience and love for every one.  He is not willing that ANY perish.

I sit here selfishly praying "Maranatha" when so many people still need to accept Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior.

The older I get I wonder more about who is saved, who is not. I wish we could know clearly. For me it takes time to figure it out. I do have instant rapport with some people (those prophecy watchers!) But beyond that I'm cautious about pegging someone.

In fact, it's safe to assume that someone is not saved, and needs the gospel.

What can it hurt?

We have a blessed hope within us that is to share!

It's so discouraging when someone doesn't respond to that glorious message!

There's no forcing anyone into the kingdom.

I listened to Ann Graham Lotz on Jan Markell's radio program today. She talked about the increase in birth pangs of the end times. Yes, the End Times are dilating. It's pretty easy to see the symptoms and the increase in frequency.

Jesus is going to meet us in the clouds before long.

And you DON'T want to stick around  after we're gone. God's wrath will be unleashed on the earth. There will be a 7 year tribulation. Life will be unbearable and people will WANT to die, but won't.

Sounds horrific, and it will be.

The nature of this tribulation will be supernatural.

If you disregard the supernatural now you won't be able to then.

There is a diabolical notion going around that we give the devil more credit than he is due. I think that argument is a deception of the devil! He has supernatural power,  and so do his minions. People worship him. He has enough power to believe that he can still win against the Heavenly Father!

He is the ruler of this realm, and he has principalities under him.

We believers, saved by the blood of the Lamb of God, are not immune to his attacks. We have the ultimate victory in death, but we're in spiritual fight mode now.

Lucifer would like you to believe that he's harmless. We'd let our guard down!

Sadly, too many are completely in his clutches and completely unaware that they are!

Wake up!

Grab your armor!  Grab your Sword,  the Word of God!

Start fighting, if you truly believe.

Donald Trump is still running for president. The theater of politics will have some very exciting and disturbing revelations between now and the election. People will be barely swayed away from their mindsets.

As a believer in Jesus I have few options for my vote.

Abortion, homosexual rights, economic issues, immigration, education,  defense, poverty,  human rights---- my views on these drive my political choices.

I believe killing a child in the womb is the shedding of innocent blood. God hates that. Abortion is a sacrifice of the first born (usually) to Molech. Ancient sacrifice is no worse.

I believe that marriage is male/female. One each, for life, no redefinition. I believe you can be free to be perverted if you want, but not at anyone else's cost.

I believe you should be fairly treated by taxation. Flat taxing makes infinite sense. Let the selfish suffer their miserly misery.  Give as the Lord gives you and reap His rewards.

Take care of the poor! Visit the prisoners!  Feed the hungry! Do what God commands us to do with the less fortunate!

There is evil in the world. Defense is a mandate. Good police forces, strong military capabilities are wise and prudent. We do need protection from evil. Evil reigns in this world.

People should be free to educate their own children as thy see fit, with maximum freedom. Generally parents love their children enough to prepare them for life. LET THEM.
Those not able to do that should naturally get assistance.

The recent "racial" disputes really "get my goat."

First of all....there is only one race_____HUMAN.  God made it clear that we are all His people! We are all under the same human condition of sin and the need for a savior.

Yes, we have beautiful cultural differences and diversity!  We're not all Asian, or African! God has his Chosen People!  Are we to resent that? No!

Satan drives the racial hatred. Wars spring from it. Power grabs and cruelty stem from racism. It's a sin, period.

Barack Obama has hurt the progress made in this area almost beyond repair. I had hoped the riots I remembered as a child would never happen again.  He incited hatred once again and rekindled them. The blame lays at his feet. He must stand and answer to God himself for this.

The Democrats have been the party of murder and hate for decades. Sorry, but it's true. I have friends who are liberal democrats, but I'm thinking they are clueless to the history of this party.

The Republicans are not much better. They cow-tow to evil interests.

This year the platform of the GOP is surprisingly positive. Trump isn't an insider politically, but he's no dummy. I would expect him to find good counsel.  He's been an embarrassment morally, but as CS LEWIS admonished, politics and morals rarely should be expected to coalesce.

His lewdness doesn't compare with Clinton's lawlessness.

I think Mike Pence is a real positive.

I'm waiting for more to be revealed in the coming weeks.  Illuminati watchers are linking Julian Assange with it, so keep your guard up!

Trust the Lord. He will guide you.

Maranatha!
