A Time of Reckoning

I have midterm projects due this weekend, but I'm taking a minute to get some thoughts out here on Corgi Hollows.

My studies have been primarily about rights and speech, discrimination and issues that arise as public servants seek to keep their jobs.

Naturally I've been thinking about draining the swamp and what that means in light of public service. I've been working in the public school system now for three years. I have a unique perspective: I'm a home-school mom (one of the other teachers couldn't believe it! I must mask it well!) I'm working in the bowels of the beast regarding liberal ideology. I'm studying liberal/global ideology, and I'm also in the jail ---observing what is happening.

I'm not just sitting here at Corgi Hollows spouting off my views for whatever they are worth. I'm watching, observing, learning.

Because I can keep doing all these things I'm pretty sure my brain is on and my mouth is shut.

Yes, it is unique.

First off, after three years of observation I'm more traditionally conservative than ever. I'm not enamored of the Republican party, nor mainstream Christianity. I'm certainly not more liberal or progressive.

I see the failure of the school system in not teaching knowledge and history. There is a real problem with kids being simply uninformed and rather slow these days. It is appalling. (The teachers that talk to me about it also think this.) Some teachers quietly buck the system. I applaud them.

Public servants are pretty decent people overall. There is a progressive mindset that threads its way through most of my classmates in my masters program, especially in my professors.

I see the Trump Derangement Syndrome first hand.

I see it as I am involved in the arts of western Hennepin County (our choir).
I see it at school with the die-hard liberal NEA educators.
I see it in my class assignments at my state university.
I see it everywhere this election year.
I see it in friends and family who have swallowed the leftist schtick hook, line, and sinker.

They don't even think anymore. They parrot the baseless talking points and cling to their hopeless ideas with a surprising tenacity.

They are looking for love in all the wrong places.

They spread ridiculous stories. They (like Ilhan Omar) stick to bizarre incidents that purport to back their accusations. They close their eyes to their own glaring shortcomings.

Such is politics. It's enough to raise the blood pressure.

THANKFULLY it is NOT what it is all about!

I daily make an effort to quell umbrage in my spirit.

It's so easy to let it fester.

SO, I pray MARANATHA every morning, and I focus on the promises and the commands of Christ, my savior.

I am trying to let the dross of my life go. I'm trying to get past the things I cared about once, that have been revealed to never have mattered in the first place.

I'm looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of my race.

What else do I have? Where else would I go?

Christ is enough.

One question I have, and I persist in wondering about it: Why do people persist in believing lies?

I have one answer: the idea of a moral and absolute God is very scary to most people. Denying that he exists is a "safe place" for most of mankind. Most people prefer to think up one's own god who doesn't look very much like the One you find in Scripture.

Gods that take on denominational characteristics, gods that take on powerless, wishy-washy acceptance----these gods are fictional idols.

Man up and meet the God who defines Himself. He is the One God, the Alpha, the Omega, the Creator and the Almighty. Confess your sins and repent.

Thankfully, He is coming soon. Come Lord Jesus.

The Empty Suit of Christianity

Definitions are in order today.

Facts:

Satan has been attacking the church since its inception.
Christianity is the religion that claims Christ is the way to salvation.
The term "Christianity" has been so broadened that it is hard to define what it truly means.

Here are some ideas that we must bring into bearing:
Christianity is supposed to believe the claims of the written Scriptures, the Bible.
Christianity is not a denomination, it is a belief.
What are the core tenets of Christianity?

God made the earth
Jesus is God
Jesus died on the cross for our sins to pay the penalty of them
Jesus rose again
Jesus is the Messiah
The church should be following the covenants of God set forth in both Old and New Testaments
Faith is not works
Grace is sufficient
Works do not save

And I like to add: God defines Himself.

Because people refuse to read their Bibles, cut out or ignore the parts they don't like, listen to the serpent hiss that "God didn't really mean that...." ----we have a REAL problem.

It all started ages ago with the early church deviating from the Old Testament faith. This is the basis for true Christianity. As Edith Schaeffer says: "Christianity is Jewish." Jesus is Jewish. Jesus kept the feasts, He was JEWISH.

Now, for the WORD of God. Is it reliable? Yes. A Thousand times, Yes.

The Jewish people, the people of the Book, accurately preserved the Word of God for thousands of years. There is no argument with the veracity of the Old Testament. You can argue the merits of the stories in the OT, but you must agree it is the most reliable text in the history of mankind.

The New Testament is also historically reliable. I have read dozens of books and seen documentaries that prove its historicity. No other ancient texts compare with it.

The question is not whether it is reliable, but whether you believe it. Will you argue with Scripture? Will you refuse its veracity (say it's all allegory?) or believe it as God's written word to mankind?

The Progressive Church is guilty of the the former.
The mainline church denominations are guilty of the former.
The Roman Catholic church is guilty of the former.
Cults are guilty of the former.

And your spirit tells you honestly that this is TRUE. You know it. Your precious conscience is telling you that GOD'S WORD IS TRUE.

Therefore, if your faith doesn't sort of look Jewish you are probably following a false gospel. Jesus told Peter that what was unclean was made clean----we must remember that story---but the truth is that the Jewish faith has the roots of faith in Jesus Christ. He is the Messiah.

We need not eat kosher, keep the feasts, etc. etc., but we must recognize that it is not out of line to practice these things. These things don't save, but they do form the foundation for God's kindness toward mankind.

There are movements that take this altogether too seriously, and I do not agree with them. I do see the benefits of eating kosher, of keeping Sabbath, of keeping the feasts. Those are obvious to me. These ordinances do not save. They simply point to the saving faith of trusting in Jesus Christ. He fulfills the law.

Come out from the darkness of organized religion and come into the light of faith in Jesus Christ. It is so freeing, so wonderful, so satisfying.

Stop justifying your sin and your doubt in God. God is a righteous judge. He hates sin. You must repent, as Jesus Commands.

The hyper grace movement is a lie. You must repent.

Why not follow Christ's commands? Why not be baptized? Why not humble yourself? Why not follow Him and make fishers of men? Why not watch for His return?

These things are Christ's very commands. "He who loves me keeps my commandments."

I don't care what background you have, you must turn away from sin and follow the Savior.

The most insidious movement today is the one that has infiltrated formerly solid seminaries and "Christian" colleges. Harvard and Yale were once "Christian" colleges. It is a sad truth that even recently there are hardly any institutions that truly claim the word of God is true, infallible, and inerrant. There are moles of unbelief in every Bible department in the country.

The professors of most subjects have worn the mortar boards of liberal theology and the societies of global building. Think about it! They have swallowed the philosophies of the world hook, line, and sinker. The devil laughs.

The masons of a global order love their pomp and circumstance. They pop those mortar boards on every head, christian or whatever...

They don't believe in the devil, or eternal hell. They don't believe in infallible truth. They don't believe in the God of the Bible. They call it myth. They are puppets in a global trend toward an earthly kingdom under a false Christ. They call themselves "divine" aligning themselves with spiritual darkness.

We are NOT divine. We are creations, wrought by the Divine Creator. He alone is divine. IF you believe the Bible you will see that. We have eternal souls for heaven or hell, but we are NOT divine. That is what Satan thought. He would be god. He has spread that lie far and wide.

Call these teachers of darkness out.

Fool me once, fool me twice....

Some of us were fooled, and some of us still are.

The time is growing short. Are you ready to meet Jesus in the air?

So we then shall be with Him.

I beg you, do not wait. Your life, humbled before God, could be such a testimony.

Dear friends and believers, ask your shepherds if they have been listening to the lies of Progressive Christianity, (formerly known as emergent, perhaps) the Social Gospel (social justice movement) and strange spirits. Test the spirits in your congregation. Test their testimony, the things they hold to, the ideas they espouse. You are possibly in a cult.

Test them, dear ones. We are facing a dark age ahead.

Are you in the ark of knowing Jesus as your savior?

Come out from the age that is upon us, distinguish those "empty suits" with the spirit of the age from the power of the HOLY SPIRIT.

Interesting article:

https://m.ncregister.com/daily-news/confessions-of-a-former-freemason-officer-converted-to-catholicism

It cannot be long before secrecy is simply not needed. Lucifer is now openly embraced.

Pity Party

I've worked hard all of this week. It turned out that I had five full shifts at the hotel (I'm there now) and I worked four days teaching.

I just didn't have much mental power to get my studies up to par. I turned in assignments, but yesterday came the announcement that my favorite prof is leaving mid semester and accepting another job. Hmmm. Must get to know a new prof for one of my courses now.

There are twists and turns.

I'm easily sucked into politics and faith matters, and you must admit this past month and a half have been earth-shaking.

Day by day there are fascinating developments in the political world. What is going to happen next? Well, what I've been reading is that the Trump administration is going to go after some high level international crime, stuff that has been going on for years earning politicians literally billions of dollars.

We will see. It is like watching a crazy mystery/spy/drama/soap opera play out in real life.

The coronavirus is something I've already touched on. That story continues to develop. We can all hope it will die out, literally, and our lives be most wholly unaffected by it

Tonight I'm just tired. Tired of crabby customers, loads and loads of sheets and towels, reading dry textbooks which tend to say the same thing over and over in dozens of different ways.

Okay, okay, it's a pity party.

Yesterday's Valentine Festivities at school were fun. The kids that were with me were in high spirits, the smell of sugar in the air. That sort of thing is sweet and reassuring. Some things don't change from childhood.

Perhaps my studies on discrimination and constitutional rights are getting to me...

I'm not saying I'm giving up, but I'm beginning to see a dark underbelly of administrative law that actually discriminates against the non-protected classes---mostly Christians whose ancestors lived in Europe---

The constitution of the United States protects freedom of religion, and the free expression thereof. I truly believe that this right is under attack.

I have the new Clarence Thomas documentary in my mind. I have David Horowitz' book "Dark Agenda" in my mind, and I have the many case studies from my text books to think about.

It's not a pretty picture, dear readers. It's pretty bleak.

Communism is an insidious disease that has taken on the aliases of Marxism, Socialism, Progressivism, Liberalism, Democratic, Social Justice, and Globalism.

It's like our constitutional republic is being attacked from every side.

It makes me feel bad.

So tonight I'm tired and I am having a little pity party. I'm glad tomorrow is Sunday, Sabbath, Rest day, church. We all need the fellowship of believers to arm us for the next week. We need those dear brothers and sisters in Christ, those who share our true values more than anyone else, to encourage us and to encourage them. I'm so thankful for my family in Christ.

At the jail last time our speaker talked about how those of us who are believers are more family than the people with whom we share relatives. It's really true. God has given me some wonderful sisters and brothers in Christ that share an eternal relationship that will never be taken away. It's so beautiful. Those eternal relationships are such a gift!

Oh how my heart breaks for friends and family that have wandered from the Lord, or never found their way home to Him. How easy it is to be an intellectual and puffed up in our own eyes. How terrible to be underestimating our Holy God.

Are you humbling yourself before His throne? Are you juggling the forces that keep you from Him? Throw away those chains!

He is ever and only the thing that satisfies.

Yes, it is a spiritual transaction. It requires giving all, and yet it is a free gift. It requires you to choose, yet it is initiated by the Holy Spirit. It is full of deepest meaning, yet simplest of assents. It is a journey that promises everything good, and saves from everything bad.

The Holy God keeps his omnipotent promises. Wait until your eyes will be opened to His everlasting goodness.

Is your unwillingness to see and accept Him for Himself holding someone dear to you from ever knowing Him at all? Think about it.

Who is your God? Who is your god?

Can you find Him in all of Scripture?

There is such an urgency. Read the Puritans and their thoughts in their preserved writings. Their sense of who God is was so pure and holy.

I think we are tempted to find God less than that more easily in 2020. The devil just laughs.

Don't revert to coping mechanisms. Preach truth and truth alone. Pray hard. Don't let petty grievances against anyone blind you from their need for Jesus.

Repent, daily, and ask the Lord to create in you a clean heart, renew a right spirit within you. Let Him point out to you those things that must be taken care of in your heart and life. Obey Him.

My heart is crying tonight for many people I know who are struggling with knowing God, trying to make Him into their own image. I weep.

And I'm tired. I feel like I'm a warrior that has been wounded and tired from battle. It's only because of concern, but still it weighs me down.

I sense the closeness of Christ's return. I hope it is soon, yet my heart quakes for those who will face such tribulation in these last years before Christ begins His kingdom on earth. Revelation spells it out for us. We will be with Him in that 1,000 year reign.

What can you do to help someone see the urgency of the times we are in?

Pray, go, tell.

NOW!

Whatever you think, it's interesting to look back...

The following Bill Moyers interview was done years ago.

Time reveals more, obviously, but it is very interesting to watch this in light of what is happening now.

The elitist cabal, deep state, globalist agenda.....there are many arms to this Luciferian octopus.

Watch and let me know what you think. Mr. Lofgren had some of the puzzle.

None of us could possibly have it all...

The Deep State Hiding in Plain Sight

Be Kind

Just so you know, there are probably a lot of people who are being shaken in their ideology lately.

I'm one of those people who have been watching all sorts of political shenanigans for years. I have believed lies, had "Come to Jesus" moments, had false notions, had to realign my thinking----

Like many people are having to do right now.

The impeachment debacle, the Mueller investigation, the FISA document fiasco----all brought about by a Deep State that was miraculously routed for once----

These stories are too much for some people to process.

Be patient with people. It takes time to see a lie for what it is.

There has been a loud silence from some of the people I've known to be supporters of the left lately. Because they have stridently attacked those of us who are more conservative we are somewhat tempted to crow over things lately.

We can't. We must help people who are slowly waking up to the truth.

We must love them, be kind to them, nurture them.

The truth is the truth. It hurts when you realize you've been believing a lie. It's humbling, humiliating. Let's be kind and not triumph over those who once wanted our defeat.

I maintain that I continue to watch. Continue to tell the truth.

Politically I am pro-life, pro-Israel, and ANTI-GLOBALIST.

That is a Biblical position, and you should align yourself with it, and help those who are waking up to the continual deception of the Evil One to see this truth.

For the hundredth time I will say that I support Donald Trump only in so far as he aligns himself with these ideas. I never liked him, never backed him, but I can only say that as long as he promotes these things I will support his views. For now. The Deep State has been trying to take him down, and that says droves.

As the Anti-Christ kingdom comes to fruition we all must be wise as serpents and gentle as doves. Be kind to those who are just waking up.

Stop and Think

The detention room at the school where I teach is called the "Stop and Think" room. I try to keep kids out of it as much as possible, (it is what the title suggests, and sometimes it's like a reward instead of a punishment) but every once in awhile I need a break from some unwelcome behavior and I send the kid packing...

Stopping and thinking right about now is a good idea for everyone.

Prophecy watchers are always interpreting current events in light of Scripture and its predictions. Many are guilty of coming down decisively on things which is somewhat easy to do but always inappropriate. We are watchers. We don't make the call on whether or not something fulfills prophecy. God does, and sometimes it isn't apparent until years after an event.

We interpret, and we watch.

I'm watching right now: Coronavirus (you aren't hearing everything), the heavens (massive changes---Betelgeuse, asteroids, planet intersections, stars colliding, weird gravitational forces, magnetic pole change, chemtrails, Barium, Strontium...), the earth is quaking (if you frequent the USGS site that measures earth activity you will be struck by the increase in size and frequency of earthquake activity), and what about US politics? What about European politics? What about the New World Order and its commencement?

These things are all clearly delineated in God's Word. He warned us.

Can it get worse? You betcha.

We aint seen nuthin yet.

God's wrath is fearsome to behold. HE will pour out judgment on the earth and there will be a "week" of judgment, seven years, Jacob's trouble, the Great Tribulation, Daniel's 70th week-----whatever you want to call it-----where fearsome things will occur.

We're only getting started.

As someone who puts her faith in Jesus Christ I watch with interest because I KNOW that my redemption draws nigh. Jesus Himself told us that "when these things begin to occur LOOK UP! Your redemption draws nigh."

I'm not sticking around for the wrath of God. Jesus paid that price for me on the cross.

Expect persecution to increase. The Devil is busy right now, lots on his mind. His minions are busily preparing for their role in this foretold drama about to unfold.

Manifestations are already happening. The supernatural veil is thinning, and people are being torn away from truth and sucked toward evil.

How about that Super Bowl half time show? Full of occult symbolism, sexual innuendo, wickedness, and if you said "whatever---" you'd better wake up and smell the coffee. That garbage was a thumb in the nose to our society. We have gone to the other side away from goodness, righteousness, and the true light of the world. If you could excuse it you had better examine your heart and work out your salvation with fear and trembling.

I did not watch it, but even the descriptions of it were disgusting. Lewdness gags. I'm a sinner with as much sin as anyone, but there are things that I cannot stomach, and blatant occult activity is one of them. WAKE UP, PEOPLE.

The saddest thing for me is seeing people who profess to be Christ-followers justify that sort of thing. I'm calling it. There is nothing to justify in evil.

Time is too short to waste on being wishy-washy. Judgment is coming. Either you are like Lot's wife, who turned back (perhaps sought to keep one foot in Sodom) and became, like Sodom, a pillar of salt, or you are like Lot, who was compelled by the angels to flee.

Hang on to your angels right now. Hang on the Christ. Purge the sin in your heart and flee this sin-sick world.

Jesus saves. The Gospel is truly your only hope. Are you born again?

Call out to God to save your soul. SOS!

I heard a report yesterday from Derek Gilbert that the Coronavirus may infect 2/3rds of the world population. You do the math on that. Of that number 20% may die. Do the math. Amir Tsarfati is reporting things you are not hearing on your televisions. China is saving face by trying to downplay the actual numbers. On Twitter there are video clips of people passing out ----dead----on the streets or in public places. This pestilence is nothing to poo-poo.

You need to be right with the LORD right now. Time is up.

My brother was killed instantly in October by a drunk driver. My parents and I are still processing that sudden loss in our lives. It comes up in unexpected moments, bringing such sadness.

Death can come at any time.

Are you sure of your salvation? Do you know where you will spend eternity?

Too much universalism is afoot these days. The Bible uses the word eternity, not Purgatory, not anything else... You will spend eternity apart from God unless you repent and follow Christ.

Apart from  God is eternal hell.

I'm just reporting. Don't kill the messenger! (But I know where I am going, by the grace of God!)

GET RIGHT WITH GOD. Renounce your allegiances to evil and align yourself with God's grand plan.

Even you are loved by the One who created you.

There is an urgency like never before. You must be born again.

PRAY NOW:

Father, I am a sinner! I have disobeyed you over and over. I am sorry for sinning against you!
Please come into my heart and life, cleanse me from my sin! I put my trust and belief in You, Dear God! Thank you for coming in and being with me! I believe in you, I trust you, I follow you! I believe that Jesus died for my sin, that He rose again, and that HE is coming again! Holy Spirit, fill me with your power that I might serve you for the rest of my days here on earth. Help me daily to turn from sin. I repent from sin in my life. I turn away from it. Help me to fight this battle, Lord. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

Or pray what you will. Repent, believe.

He who loves me keeps my commands, he it is who loves me----Jesus Christ. Yeshua. The Messiah.

Am I scaring you into the kingdom? Good. There is a lot of scary on this earth. The only true peace comes from Christ. Whatever you have been following that is apart from Christ is a lie and leads to death. Spiritual death. It's time to make that decision for Jesus.

SOTU

Did you watch it last night?

High drama, beyond belief----I thought it must have been quite the experience to be live at the SOTU last night.

The emotion was sky-high, whether it was hatred, fear, disdain, sweetness, surprise, love, and pride.

It was human drama played out, and I'm thinking this is all just beginning.

The swamp is getting drained, we think.

Politics are supposed to be boring. I felt they were much of my growing up. Last night wasn't boring. It was historical. Whatever your persuasion the events of Feb 4, 2020 will go down in political history.

And no one spoke a word about it at work today. Not a word.

I think the nation is in shock. Shock at the petty hate of Pelosi. Shock at the display we witnessed. I have felt that each of President Trumps SOTUs have been memorable. This one was theatrical drama.

I still wonder about Donald Trump's true loyalties. Hey, I'm the one who needs to see a transformed life committed to serving Christ and hating sin to believe that one is truly born again. God knows the heart, but I make my own call. I'm praying for you if you are showing signs of being swept into the deception of the age.

I hope you'd pray that for me, too.

How quickly we can be enamored with a movement, spiritual or political! We can skip down the merry (broad) path to destruction and never look back.

We must always work out our salvation with fear and trembling. Is that an oxymoron? Salvation is a gift, not of works, lest any man should boast! But what an admonition to question our true walk with Christ. What are we showing to the world and to each other? Do we even care?

Are we selfish narcissists?

Let's ask ourselves that and allow the Holy Spirit to work His cleansing ways in our hearts.

For now I am thankful for a pro-life President, a President who values Israel, and seems to be clearing out the globalist cabal (aka swamp/deep state). What an amazing time to be alive.

Maranatha.
