Comfort Ye, Comfort Ye, My People

In times of severity, in times of catastrophe, we have only one hope: God is on the Throne of the Universe, and He holds it all in His hands.

Satan is trying a masquerade of power grabbing, but he won't succeed.

God wins.

The tornado in Oklahoma is on everyone's hearts today.

The destruction is monumental. That so many have survived is truly miraculous. I felt the same way when the 35W bridge collapsed here in Minneapolis a few years ago: such potential slaughter, but only 13 died that day.

Remarkable.

When you see the world in a reverse to what culture sees, things seem so much more positive.

When men deserve evil, and God withholds it, it is more miraculous and wonderful to know God, and see His infinite mercy-----not the condemnation.

But the condemnation is coming, just as it did in Noah's day.

We must enter the Ark of salvation, and escape the judgement of the Lord.

Surely it is not far off. Birth pangs are sounding everyday. They are unavoidable now, daily.

But in this terrible warning we find peace.

He is our peace.

He is our comfort.
