Much discussion of Marxism lately with Black Lives Matter and Antifa.
My dad studied history at the University of Minnesota. He has three degrees. He loves history, and he knows Minnesota like no other human alive, I believe.
Anyone who talks to him is amazed at his encyclopedic knowledge of each and every small town in the state. Having built concrete towers all over the landscape---grain silos on dairy farms---he knew the state back before roads were popular.
He taught at the agricultural school in Crookston, where I was born, for almost ten years. That school is now a part of the University of Minnesota system. He taught history, and speech (!).
An interesting conversation came up the other day. My friend was getting groceries up north and she was surprised to find Finnish butter at the little store, as well as other Scandinavian goodies. She later watched a documentary on Communism that mentioned a Finnish Bolshevik Immigration to northern Minnesota in the last century.
I brought it up to my dad, who immediately said, "Of course! They have a political party and they always have a communist running for president on the ballot."
Our history lessons have failed us. Perhaps the movement isn't so significant, but that communist faction is alive and well with offspring up north.
As we have seen with Trevor Louden's documentaries, the communist party is full of politicians, educators, and pastors, all living right here under our noses, all quietly tweaking public policy in favor of socialism/Marxism/communitarianism/social justice/progessivism/democratic socialism....the list goes on.
Black Lives Matter: is this REALLY about racism? I think not. It is about Marxism.
Antifa? Marxist.
The world is uneducated about the horrors of communism. People don't read anymore. I read the Gulag Archipelago when I was pretty young. I was awakened to the horrors of communism early. I went to a Farm Bureau camp up north that was virtually an anti-communist tirade. Each speaker spoke of the horrors of Marxism.
I know communism kills.
As an educator with a degree in education from the University of Minnesota I am completely aware of the Marxist influence in education. It's all there.
Many of the teachers at my little country school district were Marxists. They are teaching all the young ones, molding them into social justice warriors.
The influence is everywhere.
I mentioned before that my physics prof at the University of Minnesota, back in 1983, stood up the first day of class and announced that he was going to be teaching "the Marxist View of Physics!"
I thought he was joking. No, he was not. He was a dyed-in-the-wool communist!
I found his obituary later in the archives of the Minneapolis Star/Tribune. He was a member of the communist party here in Minnesota----little Stalinist Russia.
I wonder how many Russian immigrants are really communists. Our state is full of immigrants!
Marxism is slowly squeezing the life out of us, and we are falling in droves as we see the riots of 2020 take over.
It won't be long now.
We, the unwelcome ones who value free enterprise and free markets, individual freedom and the pursuit of happiness----we will be defeated.
But we know this. Prophecy predicted it.
AND we know who ultimately wins. GOD WINS.
The constitutional republic only works when God is a part of it. Atheism demands communism.
Look at Russia. Look at China. How's that working out?
Look at Cuba, Venezuela, Vietnam, and the Socialist Governments of Europe.
Where is the freedom?
Where is the faith?
I see so much "Lord of the Rings" imagery as these days unfold. I am no longer a big fan of Tolkien as I have heard he was associated with the "Golden Dawn" and all of its occult connections, but there were certainly images in his work that suggested such horrors of being taken over by fascists and/or communists. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hermetic_Order_of_the_Golden_Dawn
The imagery is no longer fiction. I saw Minneapolis burn.
Did you know that homes were destroyed and burned even as businesses were looted? People lost everything.
This is Marxism.
Can we possibly bring our society back from the brink?
I think not, pessimist that I am. God's timeline is marching on, and His prophecies will be fulfilled.
My leftist "friends" are deluded by a spirit of lies. They actually believe in a goodness of human nature. God says we are desperately wicked-----the heart is. There is none righteous. Not one.
Human nature will be the downfall of all societies. Sin is the downfall of all mankind.
